flow4thought

“I added 4 thought because I love to allow my listeners to apply their interpretation to my poems and verses.”

Following the introductory phase of his music career, Flow4thought initially used ‘MySpace’ to engage with listeners and release music. In 2017, the talented rapper unveiled an EP titled ‘Soul Food & Eye Candy’ on all DSPs which captured the attention of new supporters. The release of the new project was an eyeopener for Flow4thought as it revealed the business aspect of music. He expressed, “I realized recording music was the easy part. The business aspect of what goes into making a hit record is ten times more tedious than recording it.”

With his keen ear and ability to adapt to change within the industry, Flow4Thought has maintained imperative relationships and the attention of his fans. He understands the importance of networking and investing in himself and plans to continue to climb the ladder within the entertainment industry. Flow4Thought has been working diligently to create timeless music for the world to hear. The 2022 year will undoubtedly be a big year for the young artist as he prepares to unleash consistent content and bless many stages.

While in the studio, Flow4thought focuses on the messages within his songs. Although he understands the importance of a catchy hook and dynamic wordplay, he remains authentic, setting him apart from other artists. He stated, “Music can shape the environment it’s being listened to in. That’s why I find it so important to focus on the messages within my craft.” When asked what advice he has for other independent artists, Flow4thought expressed, “From personal experience, I have learned that patience is a virtue. As much as you want things to happen overnight, it’s almost always never the case. A slow grind is better than no grind in the sense of bringing your passion and career to life.”

The Original Barbee Makes a Major Comeback with her Latest Single “Chemistry” and More

Check out the interview and the new music from “The Original Barbee”

Where have you been Barbee?

As you know, I released my first record at 16, and from that point, I was grinding away focusing on my career for 8 years. I began to feel like I needed to take a break and spend more time with my family and friends. I wanted a break from life and to feel like a normal person. Then Covid happened, which pushed back my return, as it slowed the music industry down overall. I did spend 2 years in Israel for residency in Tel Aviv performing my records and Bob Marley covers. It was great to see how much the rest of the world loves reggae music.

Where do you live?

I’m a global citizen lol

How are you going to approach the game This time?

Based on my prior experience, I became wiser and more knowledgeable, I got a better understanding of how the Industry works, With the technological advances today, I’m understanding how easy it is for an artist to get their music out there, and connect with their fans, Network, and build a brand. So I have a heavy focus on my Social media presence, Building my brand, Connecting with other like-minded people, and not just posting pretty pictures.

Who are some of the artists and producers you’ve worked with for your new music?

For my new project, I want To expand my sound, Before most of my songs were pop-reggae, now I see myself more as a global artist. Being a Global artist, I networked and reached out to Latin, Afro-pop, and R&B producers to help create my new sound. I can never forget the Jamaica reggae influence. I’m always going to be that Span town girl.

What are you doing new for the culture?

As I alluded to before, more global worldly-sounding music. Given my background as a Jamaican/Afro Latina with Nigerian roots, I want to make sure the music I’m making resonates with all my cultures. I’m evolving and Blending the sounds of the different cultures into one. So the music you’re getting is Barbee!

THE OFFICIAL BARBEE

Explain your new single and what’s your current project?

The new song is titled “Chemistry!” It’s a fun Spring/Summertime record, that’s Bubbly and flirting.

I creatively played with reggae and R&B.

It’s just about when you have that person that you love and care about you. Submit to them and show them how much you love them.

What’s today’s climate how do you feel about ghostwriters?

Music is about a feeling and music is collaborative, I would never say I wouldn’t work with a songwriter, Especially as a singer in the studio, there are multiple people in the room. With the energy of the session, Ideas and suggestions get shared. I can combine those ideas with mine and create the best song possible. To make a comparison, If you look at a big company like Coca-Cola, There’s not just one person creating all the ideas for different beverages – it’s a collaborative effort.

Where can your fans and followers find everything about you on social media?

As an artist and social media influencer, the first place you can find me is my Instagram @theoriginalbarbee. You can follow my day to day in my stories and everything going on with me.

For my official music videos you can go to YouTube and check out the Barbee Vevo page all my official music videos will be released on this Channel

Also, I have a TikTok similar to my Instagram. You can see behind the scenes and catch up with my day-to-day life. For everything that I have going on check out – barbeesworld.

I’m very big on fitness and Health! I have the website brattiesfitnessandnutrition.com Where I offer personal training sessions as well as meal prep. I’m all about making sure we all live our best lives possible.

[NEW MUSIC] TORAZZ – “BABY I GOTTA” FT TZIE | @TORAZZM

Torazz and His 4EYMG Labelmate TZIE pair up on his latest Sexy and Provocative Single, “Baby, I Gotta”

Singer and songwriter Torazz is a 4EYMG artist from Prince George’s County, Maryland, and creates a new genre of music that he likes to call R&B/Pop. He sings R&B while the beat behind it is Pop, then merges the two streams into one unique style of music. Torazz is a self-described funny guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Music has always been his outlet. He makes his music to help people get through their adversity, just as music has helped him get through his.

“Music is my therapy. Music got me here” – Torazz

Growing up as an only child appeared lonely for Torazz. As a teenager, with hormones raging and the feeling that his parents just didn’t understand- music was like a friend and confidante. When he was eleven years old, he began to write poems and put beats behind them. He grew up with music that his dad listened to often. Also, he was inspired at a young age by the music of Trey Songz, whose mixtapes and albums his dad would play. Although Torazz is not a rapper, he loves listening to Drake, whose music style allows him to sing along with rap.

“Singing and writing music gave me the feeling that I was talking to someone who could relate to what I was going through” – Torazz

Torazz’s experience while attending the annual Fairmount Heights Day celebration was a thrill-filled turning point, and he knew from that moment on that his music would take center stage in his life. His cousin Durell, who is an A&R for 4EYMG, asked him to go up on stage and sing. It was the first time he had ever sung in front of a large audience. Torazz had a couple of jobs before making music his job. He used to be a manager at DollarTree and later worked at Amazon. But the music never feels like a job to Torazz. “Music is just a lifestyle at this point.” He has been in a couple of sessions with other artists to give them input, but his main focus is on his music.

“Learn to network, and understand that you don’t know everything” – Torazz

Torazz believes in staying open-minded with wisdom- he takes to heart what he does. His priority is God and having a stronger foundation of people around him who “believe in the moment.” He is confident in his musical artistry and assures everyone that his work with ‘4EYMG’ will be just the beginning of a string of artistic successes. His progression from just a year ago has been phenomenal as he tests his limits and breaks barriers, taking the music seriously above all other distractions. Now that he’s working to find that single to become his city anthem. “Believe me- there is more to come!”

Be sure to connect with Torazz on social media and digital music platforms.
